Nick Loris

Loris is an economist, focuses on energy, environmental, and regulatory issues as the Deputy Director of the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies and Herbert and Joyce Morgan fellow at The Heritage Foundation. Loris studies and writes about energy subsidies, climate change policies, energy efficiency mandates, as well as natural resource and nuclear energy policy. He also covers federal lands issues and articulates the benefits of free market environmentalism. Loris has testified before House and Senate committees on more than 15 occasions. He has been published and quoted in major newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. His radio and television appearances include CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, and National Public Radio.
