This year’s recipients of the Congressional Champions Award were Senator Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania, Senator Tim Sheehy of Montana, Congresswoman Jen Kiggans of Virginia, and Congresswoman Celeste Maloy of Utah. The award recognizes members for their commitment to advocating for innovative and commonsense environmental, energy, and conservation policies.
“Our team is focused on some of the key challenges facing our country today: ensuring a strong and sustainable energy future and protecting our natural environment,” said Jeff Kupfer, President of ConservAmerica. “A robust economy and a healthy environment can and do thrive side by side. This year’s award recipients clearly recognize that connection and consistently push toward those objectives. We were delighted to honor members of the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus (RCC) —Sen. McCormick, Sen. Sheehy, Rep. Kiggans, and Rep. Maloy—for their dedication to advancing practical, common-sense, and market-based policies. We’re thankful for their leadership on these issues and are proud to support them as members of the RCC. We would also like to extend a very special thank you to the many sponsors whose support helped make this event a success.”
