
Paul Walker
Executive Director
Paul Walker has been appointed Executive Director and will focus on the implementation of the ConservAmerica’s “Cleaner, Here, Now” energy strategy. Walker brings an incredible depth of experience in public policy, energy, and capital markets. After serving on the staff of Congressman John J. Rhodes III, he served in Arizona Governor Jane Hull’s Department of Gaming as Legislative Liaison and Public Information Officer. In 2001, he joined the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) as an advisor to Chairman Marc Spitzer. At ACC, he worked on telecommunication and energy deregulation, and on hundreds of water, wastewater, securities, pipeline, and railroad issues.
In 2004, he joined his state’s oldest lobbying and public affairs firm, Jamieson & Guiterrez, and created its utility practice. Since 2008, he has been president and owner of Insight Consulting, LLC. At Insight, Walker has researched, evaluated, and advised on multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions, and advised various Wall Street investment firms on utility projects in 13 states.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix and a Masters of Business Administration from the highly regarded Thunderbird School of Global Management. Walker served 12 years in the Arizona Army National Guard and attained the rank of Captain. He led two overseas deployments of a Military Police Company.
