    Why? Because money doesn’t talk, it swears.

    So, if legislators don’t vote the mine in, the industry
    might pull back on their financial support?

    Perhaps, all those opposed to the mine can promise legislators to
    pony up the missing dollars that the mine owners and lobbyists
    normally pay.

      Jan, money seems to be the driving force for all national and many state policies these days. One of the characteristics ConservAmerica looks for in candidates we endorse is the belief that our country–and its future generations–must be the highest priority.
